No charges will be laid in Walter Wheeler’s murder

Walter “Buddy” Wheeler of Fredericton got in an argument with a member of Bacchus in a bar. As he was leaving the bar the Bacchus member motioned for someone else to jump him and they beat him to death. Now, crown has dropped the case saying there isn’t enough evidence to prosecute. That is disgusting.

  1. Apparently the Cops and the Crown Prosecutor in Fredericton are fucking Retards! How can a man get beaten to death in a parking lot, in front of witnesses, and they don't have enough evidence to get any kind of conviction?! The Cops know who beat the living shit out of Wheeler, who later died from his injury's! Pretty cut and dry case! A two year old could prosecute this case and win! Wow! And not even the absolute minimum of an assault charge laid. I guess in Fredericton beating people to death is NOT against the law! Can only imagine what Wheeler's family is thinking and feeling!

  2. I totally agree. The only thing that I can think of is that witnesses are afraid to testify. If they have witnesses who will testify and they don't "think" it will result in a conviction because it's what he said versus what she said then shame on them. They should proceed with charges.

  3. Shame on the witnesses, they just made these people more powerful! Only by speaking out do we take their power away!

  4. We don't know for sure the witnesses are refusing to testify. That may be the case but it might also simply be the crown says it's just his word against theirs and isn't enough for a conviction. Which would be even worse than witnesses being afraid to testify.

  5. His word against theirs!??? That shouldn't even be an option! Witnesses or no witnesses... the Cops and the Crown know that Wheeler died of his injuries from being on the receiving end of that beat-down, they also know who the person was that beat him to death. So their should be a murder charge... Nope.. well at least manslaughter... Nope.. well at least aggravated assault causing death.. Nope.. well at least aggravated assault causing bodily harm.. Nope... well at least assault.. Nope... I guess slapping him on the wrist and saying... You're a Bad bad boy, you can go now but try not to beat anyone else to death or we'll have to call you a Bad boy again!... What a travesty our justice system has become! Jesus Christ! I can't even get out of a parking ticket but these Bacchus wannabe Boot lickers can beat someone to death under orders from a member and nothing happens!

  6. Yeah I'm just speculating on why no charges are being laid. Either the witnesses won't testify or the crown says it's just his word against thiers. I do think not pressing charges in this case is very wrong. It diminishes all of us.

  7. I understand what you're saying ... but witnesses and he said/she said, should not have any affect on whether this dirt-bag gets charged... All they are doing is allowing another low-life get away with murder. If the reason is because the witnesses won't testify, they I say they are spineless cowards and are equally as guilty in Wheeler's death as the guy who beat him. Seeing what happened and saying nothing about it, is just as bad as helping stomp on Wheelers head. I hope Wheelers Family accidentally runs this Bacchus Boot-Lick down with a truck, since the Cops, the Crown, and the general public in Fredericton don't consider these types of things chargeable offenses!

  8. I wonder, maybe a deal was struck with the guy who had the fingers snapped at him, to turn agent? Maybe Bacchus should watch their backs. Could be the start of a new e Pandora!
