MacKay to run for Conservative Leadership

The Canadian Press is reporting that "Former Conservative cabinet minister Peter MacKay says he's in the running for leadership of the federal Conservatives. He posted the message to his social media accounts Wednesday, his first on-the-record acknowledgment of his leadership aspirations. 'I'm in. Stay tuned,' he wrote on Twitter." Of course he did.

Right after Rona Ambrose announced that she's out, Peter MacKay anounced that he's in. Only, as soon as he announced that, the National Post changed their headline to read "Don't rule Rona Ambrose out just yet." LOL Everyone is panicking and are begging her to run. Anyone but Peter McKay they say. Now that is funny. I'm not going to hate on Pete. He does carry that lost puppy dog look ever since Belinda Stronach left him for the Liberals. Lying about referring to her as his dog was kinda silly but that's all past history right?

What isn't past history is his war crimes in Afghanistan. How can we place Peter MacKay in a position of trust if he is a progressive liar? I say progressive because lying about making fun of his old girlfriend is a small lie. Lying about the Harper government's knowledge of prisoners being tortured in Afghanistan is a huge lie. As is refusing to release the documents which proved it and heavily censoring the evidence with a black felt marker.

When Pete was Harper's right hand man, they fired the whitleblower for exposing the fact that they were handing over Afghan prisoners to be tortured. They slandered him and fired him. Although Belinda Stronach's lost puppy is past history, Peter MacKay's cover up of war crimes is not. That still needs to be dealt with especially as we reexamine Canada's place in the oil wars.

Pete's free to run for whatever he wants to but the fact that the big guns are terrified to run him shows that his candidacy is already flawed. There is no question that Jean Charest is the rising star in this contest. The question is, do the Conservative want to win the next election or do they want to continue to grope in the darkness over Jason Kenny's Me First failures. I would vote for Jean Charest if he ran for Prime minister. I would not vote for Peter MacKay. Just say'n.

The Democratic Presidential Debate

I didn't watch the Democratic Presidential Debate but I will say this: it was nice to see Hilary Clinton was not there. Last election, having to choose between Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump was like having to choose between getting shot in the left leg or the right leg. Either way it's going to be painful. How about neither?

In this case I don't know enough about the candidates to make an endorsement so I'll let nature take it's course. However, I will point out that "The New York Times will announce its Democratic primary endorsement on Jan. 19." I find that statement interesting.

Growing up I always thought newspapers were supposed to be impartial. That's why I found Rupert Murdoch's political bias so disturbing. The New York Times certainly has every right to make an endorsement in an election. Since, unlike the New York Daily, the New York Times is not owned by Rupert Murdoch, I would take their endorsement a little more seriously. The caution I have is when a media monopoly makes an endorsement then censors negative stories about their endorsement. When one media giant owns a monopoly, that kind of bias is concerning.

Amy Klobuchar talked about fiscal responsibility and said Trump has run up the debt. That is a good point. Everyone claims the left will tax and spend while the right will reduce spending and taxes but we see in reality that is far from the case. Neo Cons tax and spend more than the left does. Those pork barrel politicians are not fiscally responsible. This is why I supported Thomas Mulclair in Canada. He said the same thing.

I'm not a fan of abortion. In cases of incest or rape it is a very hard and very private decision. When the health of the mother is at risk it is automatic. It's not even called an abortion it's called a D&C. However, late term abortion as a form of birth control is sheer irresponsibility. Abortion stops a beating heart. It reminds me of when ancient Greece would leave disabled babies to die on a hillside. We are better then that. So although killing babies isn't a priority I obsess over, I realize there is more than one issue on the table. I don't support gun control either.

For me, drug trafficking, arms dealing and oil wars is important. All of that is tied directly to the CIA. That means my concern is how close is the presidential candidate with the CIA? Hilary Clinton was too close. Her drug trafficking didn't start with Operation Fast and Furious, it started in Mena Arkansas. Neither did her arms dealing begin and end with Quatar and Saudi Arabia. Arming ISIS has become an American tradition that we need to address.

All I know is that Donald Trump has lost his mind. Destabilizing the Middle East by threatening a disproportionate terrorist attack against Iran was purely satanic. That is how history will remember him. Wars and sanctions need to revolve around moral principles not corporate greed.

Mexican cop films dying cartel member

The Daily Mail is reporting that "Video footage has emerged showing the dying moments of a female cartel boss after she was fatally wounded during a shootout with police in Mexico. The clip and photographs appear to confirm she was María Guadalupe López Esquivel, known as 'La Catrina,' a female member of a cartel hit squad that massacred 13 police officers in October. The 21-year-old was involved in an attack against the military, national guard and police in La Bocanda, a town in the central state of Michoacán."

I have a lot to say about this one. We all know that the Mexican police have a bad reputation for being corrupt. Here we have a cop in Mexico video taping a young women shot on the side of the road before she dies. AYFKM? He claims that she was a member of a cartel hit squad that massacred 13 police officers in October. That is what he claims.

Yet we have no way of verifying whether or not that is true just like we have no way of verifying whether or not anyone the CIA executes with a drone really is a bad guy. We believe in due process. We do not believe in extrajudicial executions. Filming a young woman as she is dying is in bad taste. Posting those pictures on the Internet is in bad taste. Violence begets violence.

Her name is La Catrina who is a goddess of death that the Aztecs alleged protected their departed loved ones, helping them into the next stages" of the afterlife. If it was her, the reason they killed her is because her cartel is a rival of the one the CIA was arms dealing with and getting their cocaine from in Operation Fast and Furious.

Was the girl they shot and filmed bleeding on the side of the road the same girl as the one in the picture holding the gold AK? I do not know. To me, they do not look the same. But then again, I didn't think the Bin Laden confession video looked anything like Bin Laden.

The former president of Colombia has a very bad reputation for killing villagers and dressing them us as paramilitaries to boast false positive killings. I don't know if that is what they have done here, but I do know that posting pictures of dying girls is in bad taste. You all need to find some self respect because you've lost it and no one can find it for you. That's something you're going to have to find for yourself. La Catrina: Peace. Police suspect foul play after man found dead in Burnaby

Global is reporting that "Detectives are investigating the suspicious death of a man in Burnaby Monday morning. The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) says Joseph Vincent Morrissey, 51, was found dead in the 6700-block of 4th Street around 7:20 a.m. Police say the Vancouver man had "injuries consistent with foul play," and that the death is believed to be connected to the drug trade." Big surprise.

This is why enforcement saves lives not harm promotion. Wherever the police allow drugs to be sold openly, the violent crime in that area skyrockets. If you reduce the amount of drugs sold publicly, you reduce the violent crime associated with it.

Likewise, the Aldergrove Star is reporting that a person was found dead Saturday in east Maple Ridge near the 24500-block of Lougheed Highway. “Though the area is rural, investigators believe that it does get used frequently by pedestrians." Things that make ya go hmmmm. Sounds like another fatality connected to the drug trade. Maple Ridge has a large drug problem now that needs to be dealt with not swept under the carpet.

Hells Angels Associates sentenced for drug trafficking in Ontario again

Inquinite is reporting that "Calvin Hyderman, 63, of Frankford, Nicholas Runnalls, 41, of Belleville and Mark Dunn, 50, of Trenton were found guilty in Belleville court on Monday of possession for the purpose of trafficking."

"The three men were charged in late June, 2018 after the OPP and Belleville Police searched homes in Belleville, Trenton and Frankford and seized an unspecified quantity of cocaine, along with drug paraphernalia, weigh scales, some Canadian currency and colours belonging to the Hell’s Angels."

In 2017 more Hells Angels associates were charged with drug trafficking in that area. One of those men, Blair Crawford was sentenced in 2018.

Yvan Leclair is the full patch Hells Angel those drug dealers were working for in 2017. Leclair's lawyer claimed that he may have been a Hells Angel, but Yvan Leclair was on his own when selling cocaine and guns to undercover cops which as we all know is simply not true. They were using the name of the Hells Angels to sell drugs. That means they had the permission of the local executive. As the world is distracted with more important things, the Hells Angels are still drug trafficking here at home. Stop the greed. Live the dream, don't pimp it.

This reinforces my point that Rupert Murdoch's media empire is biased and seeks to mold public opinion instead of reporting news honestly.

The Belfast Telegraph is reporting that "The PSNI is investigating a shooting in west Belfast on Monday evening. It's believed a man was shot in the knee and foot during the incident on Burnaby Walk off the Grosvenor Road shortly before 6pm. The ambulance service was not called and the man was driven to hospital in a car, where he's being treated." Shot in the knee in West Belfast... well, well, well, that certainly brings back memories.

West Belfast is Catholic run by the IRA while East Belfast is Protestant run by the UDA.

The Irish News is reporting that "Police are treating a fire at a block of flats in the outskirts of east Belfast as arson. Two men and two women were rescued from the blaze at the property at Rosneath Gardens in the Ballybeen area on Sunday night. The front door of the property was sprayed with flammable liquid and set on fire at 9.40pm." Getting burned out of your home in East Belfast, that certainly brings back memories. I thought those days were long gone. Evidently not.

Bigotry in the Vancouver Sun

Last September the Vancouver Sun ran an obscene piece of bigotry written by Calgary college instructor Mark Hecht claiming that diversity harms a country's social trust and economic prosperity. The guy is a f*cking Nazi.

CBC reported that "An op-ed published by a Calgary instructor in two Vancouver newspapers is being widely condemned for saying Canada would be better off without ethnic diversity." The Sun later issued an apology for publishing the article.

Nevertheless, several concerns arise. The Tyee reported "That Sun Column Was No Outlier. Postmedia Has Embraced Dishonest, Dangerous Propaganda. Journalism is essential to a functioning democracy, and it’s falling apart." This is very true.

There are two issues on the table. The first is diversity. The second is biased news reporting. Mark Hecht is not First Nations so by his own definition his presence in Canada is damaging the nation's social trust. He needs some time with Dr Phil. He should not be a University professor teaching students anything let alone promoting Fascism across the country.

Diversity is the foundation of a democratic society and the framework of the Canadian Charter of Rights. There is no place for bigotry in Canada. We are better than that.

The British Tabloids are all owned by Rupert Murdoch who has admitted extreme bias in his newspapers. When he promoted Tony Blair, all his newspapers would print articles promoting Blair and nothing opposing him. When Murdoch changed endorsements the same thing would happen. His newspapers didn't report the news and open debate. They promoted propaganda designed to mold public opinion. Huxley warned us about this in his novel Brave New World.

The same thing with Post Media Trash. Post Media News promoted the LRT in Surrey and the RCMP over a municipal police force. The voters disagreed. After the election Post Media Trash continued a barrage of articles promoting LRT and the RCMP. That isn't news it is sheer propaganda and it certainly isn't in the public's best interest.

The Tyee reported that "After an op-ed calling for Canada to abandon diversity and tolerance provoked outrage, Vancouver Sun and Province editor-in-chief Harold Munro published an apology Saturday, addressed staff on Monday, and issued a memo with proposed fixes to the system on Wednesday. If he thought that would calm his newsroom, he was wrong."

"The offending opinion piece, by Calgary college instructor Mark Hecht, argued Canada should say goodbye to diversity, tolerance and inclusion or risk unraveling as a society. It cited discredited reports by an anti-Muslim think tank. The piece reportedly was greenlighted by Sun and Province editorial pages editor Gordon Clark without Munro’s sign-off. Almost as soon as it was published, many Sun and Province journalists condemned it on social media."

This isn't the first time Harold Munro folded like a cheap tent. He approved articles confronting Peter leaks's judicial incompetence then pulled the article while Gordon Clark, who is married to a BC Court Judge, launched an attack on Tim Petruk for criticizing Peter Leask's incompetence.

It comes as no surprise that it was Gordon Clark who approved the article promoting bigotry in the Vancouver Sun since he claims we are letting in too many people into Canada. As our birthrate is so low in Canada we need immigration to survive. Diversity makes us strong.

I don't follow the royal families much because I have a life and they deserve one. I've stated my position on the royal family quite clearly. Moses said the sceptre shall not depart from Judah. Even Muslims believe Moses. I will however point out that the British tabloids are trash.



I worked in London for a while as a chef many years ago. The British tabloids are exactly that - tabloids. They are gossip trash like the National Enquirer. Anything to sell a paper. The Murdoch files were caught wiretapping the royal family's phones. That isn't just illegal, that is treason. It is an offense against the crown. Who do you think was tapping the royal families phones for the British tabloids? It was MI6. They are behind the biased propaganda of the Murdoch tabloids.

When I was in London I noticed that on page three of the Sun they always had a new picture of their sunshine girl. A woman topless. I kinda raised my eyebrow and said this is a newspaper? How am I supposed to take their "news" reporting seriously. I don't remember seeing that in Ireland. The Belfast Telegraph had a lot more class and credibility. They reported news.

I will declare that the front page coverage of Harry & Megan on the New York Post was tasteless, disrespectful and offensive. What in God's name has happened to the credibility of the New York Post?! Oh, I see. Rupert Murdoch bought it in 1976. Everything he touches turns to sh*t.

I'm not going to comment on the Megxit "scandal" much. I will however say this: Harry & Megan, William & Kate, Charles & Camela, the Queen and Philip are all noble. I'm not referring to a meaningless title bestowed upon them by some rich yuppie. I'm talking about the nobility of their character. They all have it. They have class, dignity and integrity. Each jewel shines in it's own light. Diana is of course the Queen of Hearts. She is and was a true saint.

The Queen did not kill Diana. The paparazzi did. They were in a car racing through a tunnel trying to`get away from the paparazzi. They got in a car accident and tragically, Dianna wasn't wearing her seat belt. Now everyone wears a seat belt. Back then, not so much. They didn't have seat belt laws and back then it just wasn't a big deal. Unfortunately in this case it was. It was a fatal car crash that took the life of the best thing that ever happened to the royal family.

This is why I don't buy tabloids. Tabloids killed Diana. When I see the recent barrage of headlines about Harry and Megan, who wouldn't want to get away from that? I am told that the tabloids and social media have been disrespectful toward Megan Markle. AYFKM? Megan is gorgeous but more importantly, she is a beautiful person. That is what life is all about.

Trevor Noah from the daily had a humorous commentary about Megxit. Members of the royal family want to step back from the spotlight and become financially independent. What in God's name is wrong with that? We should be applauding their nobility not trashing their family. Diana was very protective of her sons against the media. Why shouldn't Harry and Megan do the same for Diana's grandchild? Have a little respect for God's sake. Let them have a life. They deserve it.

Surrey shooting between cars

CTV is reporting that "A report of shots fired near Guildford Town Centre in Surrey triggered a large police presence near the mall on Thursday evening. Mounties closed 96 Avenue between Green Timbers Way and 150th Street as they conducted their investigation. Surrey RCMP told CTV News that witnesses called police around 5:30 p.m. to say one car was chasing another, and it appeared that the two cars may have been exchanging gunfire." Green Timbers Way is a short street with the RCMP Headquarters on it.

Global is reporting that there was a police incident in North Vancouver Friday afternoon.

I want to clarify the obvious. Iran did not intentionally shoot down a passenger plane of it's own citizens. That did not happen. After the United States killed the Iranian general responsible for defeating ISIS in Iraq, Iran said they would retaliate by hitting a military target which they did. Donald Trump was the one that threatened a terrorist strike. Iran did not. It is remotely possible that while Iran launched missiles at a military target, a passenger plane flew in the trajectory of those missiles. That is remotely possible but I don't believe that is what happened. I believe something much more sinister is at play.

"The plane was bound for Kiev and many on board had a connecting flight to Toronto, Canada's largest city and a transit hub. Of those passengers, 63 were Canadians citizens. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has said that, all told, 138 people on that flight were en route to Canada."

"In total, 82 Iranians and 63 Canadians were on board the Kyiv-bound Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) Flight PS752, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko said. There were also 11 victims - including nine crew members - from Ukraine, four Afghans, four Britons and three Germans. Iran's head of emergency operations said 147 of the victims were Iranian, which suggests many of the foreign nationals held dual nationality." The majority of the Canadians on board were of Iranian descent. Iran did not shoot down a plane load of it's own citizens.

I will declare that this is a complete tragedy. Worst case scenario it was a horrible accident.

Where is the rocket's red glare? Take a look at this video posted on the New York Times web site. Who is filming it? They are anticipating something is going to happen with a plane they can barely see. That "missile" doesn't look like the missiles Iran used. That "missile" is traveling awfully fast. Not only is the plane being targeted it's a pretty impressive hit. IE that's hard to do. Iran would not have targeted a plane load of it's own people.

CBC claims it looks like a Tor M1 sytem. That isn't what they used in the US Military strike in Iraq.

The CIA claims Iran mistook the airliner for a US military jet and shot it down by accident. That is not believable. Iran is trustworthy. The CIA is not. Lying is their MO.

Update: BBC is reporting that "Iran says its military unintentionally shot down a Ukrainian passenger jet, killing all 176 people on board, Iran's state TV reports. The statement said it had done so due to "human error" after the plane flew close to a sensitive site belonging to Iran's Revolutionary Guards. Mistaken for a hostile target, the jet was hit by a missile, the statement said. Those responsible would be held accountable, it added."

The President of Iran has stated: "The Islamic Republic of Iran deeply regrets this disastrous mistake," Hassan Rouhani said late Friday in a post on Twitter. "My thoughts and prayers go to all the mourning families. I offer my sincerest condolences." Rouhani said investigations continue to "identify and prosecute this great tragedy and unforgivable mistake."

Final update: I still do not believe Iran did it despite their confession. I think they cut a deal with the Americans. It is therefore quite possible that Iranian soldiers shot down the passenger jet approaching Terran from the Ukraine in fear they would bomb their holy sites like Donald Trump said they would. The only problem with that theory is that the flight was leaving Terran heading for the Ukraine. The CIA's claim and Iran's confession does not make sense. I do not believe they did it. If they did, Donald Trump must assume 50% liability for the disaster for threatening a disproportionate terrorist strike in Iran. However, I do not believe they did it despite the confession and hereby record my dissent.

It's like the war in Afghanistan. All of a sudden the Taliban have agreed on American ownership of the pipeline. Yet with all its sound and fury, nothing has really been revealed. Just alot of talk about a lot of nonsense. Subscribers of this cult think Donald Trump is a Messiah. I kid you not. A racist hillbilly doesn't really fit the profile of a messiah but others like Jim Jones have amassed before so I suppose why not a racist hillbilly. Inbreeds need love too. Just don't drink the the Kool-Aid. Jim Jones was a "Christian" minister.

OK so let's examine some of the absurd statements the raging lunatic is making. The New York Times quoted Trump as saying: “They’re allowed to kill our people. Iran isn't doing any of those things. Iran isn't torturing anyone. You are. The CIA has black prison sites not just in Guantanamo Bay but all over the world where they torture suspects without a trial and without legal representation. That is illegal. We believe in due process.

He confirmed that the Iranian hostage taking was orchestrated. He was there. Last year CBC reported that the Canadian Air Force is aiming to have armed drones in the air in next six years. In 2017 Justin Trudeau claimed there will be fulsome discussions on how these armed drones will be used. Oh really?

Purchasing armed drones that work in the arctic and could shoot down a Russian bomber or a missile from North Korea would be a cost effective proactive step forward. The key discussion is what we use them for. Armed drones have a huge potential for good or evil. Choose wisely.
