Lindsay Buziak Memorial Walk February 2nd 2018



This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Lindsay Buziak murder on Vancouver Island and the 8th annual Walk for Justice in her memory. It's on Friday February 2nd 2018. They start 10:00 AM at the Royal Oak Memorial Park Gate 4763 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC. It will be a 7 KM walk from the Royal Oak Burial Park to the Saanich Municipal Hall. Everyone is welcome to join in part or all of the walk. This tragic case was featured on Dateline.

      The graphic they sent out says 17. Was that a typo?

      must be, i live between those points. 17k would take you to the airport from the burial spot.

    Can you please tell us more about this case. How come it says the bf and his mother were cleared because they did a polygraph. CLEARED? Impossible. What’s with that. Do you know if the Saanich Police are capable of solving this? I heard there is lots of money laundering in real estate on the island. isn’t that what the boyfriend did/does and his brother.

      No I don't think the Saanich Police are capable of solving this case. Tragically I don't think there will ever be justice for Lindsay in this life. Nothing will bring her back. Her murder was a profound loss to her family and friends.

    So by saying there won’t be justice for Lindsay are you meaning no one will ever be arrested? Why would you think that?

      Look at how much time has gone by. Most people are afraid to testify in murder cases. With no witnesses it is very difficult to get a conviction. I dont want to be pessimistic but I will be realistic. This case draws a lot of attention. A lot of people are obsessed with it. That doesn't change the facts.

    Unfortunately, most homicide cases that lack DNA, fingerprints, the murder weapon, and eyewitnesses that could ID the murderers will remain unsolved until someone comes forward with first-hand knowledge or CONFESSES. I think the police are fully capable of solving this homicide. In fact, I think they are fully aware of who the conspirators are. At the end of the day, the Crown makes the decision to arrest and charge the offenders not the police.
